OWNER / HEAD ENGINEER
Niko is a producer, audio engineer, and musician from Sugar Land, Texas. He studied Contemporary Writing & Production at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and graduated from The Recording Conservatory of Austin with a Certificate in Recording Arts.
He’s been a detail-oriented musician since he was young and was always fascinated in the work that went on behind the scenes. As time went on he began to lose interest in the music he was listening to, and decided he wanted to learn how to make his own.
Since then, he’s gained a vast amount of audio, songwriting, graphic design, and marketing experience, and has gotten to be part of a handful of large scale projects. Make yours one of them.
EVENT COORDINATOR / BOOKING MANAGER
For as long as she can remember, music has been a huge part of Ashley’s life. She’s always loved playing and writing music, but knew by a very young age she wanted to be a part of the business side of things. After having worked as promotional manager for artists in Scottsdale, Arizona, she quickly found a niche love for marketing and management, and has been pursuing that passion for over a decade.
A few years later she packed her bags and began professionally booking shows for a circle of artists here in the greater Houston area, becoming manager for local indie trio Islands of Pear, and going on to start her own project, Chancla Fight Club. Since first dipping her toes the music industry, she’s made huge leaps with artists she’s worked with and has grown to be a very knowledgeable and dedicated asset to any project she’s a part of.
With a special place in her heart for dreamers, she looks forward to becoming a part of your artistic journey here at Nitpick and beyond.
Following in Niko’s footsteps, Alec has been involved with music his whole life as well, playing drums, bass guitar, and singing. He attended the Conrad N. Hilton College, University of Houston for a B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management with an emphasis in Lodging Management and a minor in Beverage Management and Marketing.
He has travelled abroad throughout Asia, including living in Seoul, South Korea during a semester study abroad at Sejong University. During this time, he was a part of a band and played multiple shows throughout South Korea.
Multinational business, law, and international trade has always fascinated Alec, influencing his career path towards international hospitality, entertainment, and law. With attention to detail and an affinity towards numbers, Alec is here to manage the books at Nitpick and ensure your projects are taken care of in the most professional manner possible.
